Scott is a Director - Financial Advisor, CRC® in Baird's Oconomowoc office. He and his nephew Brett Lange, CFP® , focus on holistic financial planning using a comprehensive strategy that include your values, goals, and experiences with money. Our goal-based financial planning uses a variety of investment, insurance, estate, and tax strategies to help you reach your retirement goals and build for future generations.
Scott has over 36 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career in 1990 at Blunt, Ellis & Loewi joining his father after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from UW-Whitewater. After many firm name changes, Scott and his father moved from Wachovia Securities in May 2003 to Baird's Oconomowoc office. In 2020, Scott's nephew, Brett Lange, teamed with Scott in the Oconomowoc office to become the third generation helping clients achieve their financial goals.
Scott and his wife Sally live in Nashotah. They have three children Mitch, Brynn and Ryan. Scott has served on the Nashotah Planning commission since 2015. In his free time, he enjoys boating, golf, snowmobiling, card games and spending time with friends and family.
